Who Can Apply?

Internships will typically last anywhere from one week to two weeks. While interns will sit within the Registry, it is intended that they will be given as broad a view as possible of the QICDRC and wider Qatar Financial Centre business to gain a holistic understanding of how the QICDRC operates and the context within which it does so.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Interns will primarily be involved with the work of the Registry, which is the core business of the QICDRC.

It is envisaged that interns will be exposed to the following (in addition to attending any hearings that take place during the course of the internship):

  • Reading and summarizing case papers for use by the Registry.
  • Discussing active cases with members of the Registry team.
  • Progressing any special projects that are being undertaken by the QICDRC, and the Registry in particular.
  • Ad hoc research tasks as required by the Registry.
  • Assisting in the enforcement process as directed.

Each intern will be assigned a member of the Registry team as a point of contact who will ensure that their time at the QICDRC passes smoothly.

Interns will be expected to be present at the QICDRC during court hours for the duration of their internship (08.00-16.00).

Interns who successfully complete the internship will be provided with a Certificate of Completion.

How To apply

Send a cover letter addressed to the Registrar along with a CV (programs@qicdrc.gov.qa). Emails should bear the following subject hearing: “Application for Internship – [NAME]”.
